Mobile Alert Guide

Alert Types:
We have 3 types of alerts that you may receive
  1. Lower Threshold
  2. Upper threshold
  3. Bar Threshold
Lower / Upper Thresholds advise when you have used a given percentage of your data / voice bundle or hit a specified total spend. When these are triggered you should receive an email and/or SMS from us to let you know but service will not be restricted.

Once you reach the Bar threshold we will trigger a restriction on the service. This is based on rated call data from the carrier network so in some instances the value maybe end up higher than value set in your alert profile.

What to do if you go over your bundle:
Please contact our support team if you go near or over your bundle and wish to add a top up. In most instances we can add a data or voice top up to your service and back date to the beginning of the month in order to mitigate costs.

Managing Alerts:
Please see the alert guide attached to this article for full information on how to manage your alerts, view default alerting values and manage barred services.
